Meet Rick

Rick Bennett has a proven record of working hard, serving others, and delivering results that matter.

Fighting for Mainers.
As a former President of the Maine Senate, unanimously elected by his peers, Rick is known for bringing people together to get things done—crafting bipartisan solutions to lower housing costs, expand education, bring broadband to all corners of the state, and tackle the opioid crisis.

Strong Business Leadership.
Rick has created jobs and helped turn around struggling Maine-based companies. He knows what it’s like to meet payroll, build a team, solve problems, and make tough calls.

Deep Maine Roots.
The son of a public school teacher and a retail sales clerk, Rick is a Maine native with family roots in Oxford County going back over two centuries. Rick lives in Oxford with his wife Karen and together they have two adult children, Abby and Nathaniel, and a beloved rescue dog and cat.
